Job description

Project context

France’s leading engineering and management institution, the Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT), provides training in combination with a high level of scientific and technical excellence to respond to the digital, ecological, and industrial transitions. As part of the IMT network, IMT Mines Albi aims to play a key role in a transformative process with a significant societal impact. We seek to combine scientific expertise with human insights to meet future challenges. Our mission is to reinvent the world by training engineers capable of building a sustainable world by actively contributing to ecological, digital, industrial, and societal transitions. We will stimulate new economic development dynamics and support the creation or transformation of activities linked to the emergence of new technologies and industrial processes by drawing on our extensive research teams, spread across three training and research labs. Our goal is an agile, responsible and sustainable society.

The Research, Doctorate and Economic Intelligence Department (DRDIE) is accountable for the following:

• Research focus, doctoral training, innovation, and economic development activities to consolidate and promote the school’s activities.

• Promoting new scientific knowledge, proofs of concept and innovations, and their transfer to the socio-economic world.

• Coordinate the strategy and actions to protect the school’s scientific and technical heritage.

• Develop integrated support for research, innovation, and economic development.

• Provide doctoral training as part of the degree awarded by the school, in line with the scientific skills of the labs.

The position proposed is open at the RAPSODEE laboratory, which is associated with CNRS (UMR 5302). It conducts research on Particulate solids, renewable energies, biomass and waste conversion, and eco-activities. It also covers health and nutrition research. At the RAPSODEE center, the project manager will be under the responsibility of the ERC STOREHEAT project and the PHOSFORLAB Labcom Principal Investigator (PI).

Missions

In the context of the STOREHEAT ERC (European Research Council) project and the PHOSFORLAB joint public-private research laboratory developed within the RAPSODEE training and research lab, the role of research project manager will be overseen by the professor in charge of projects.
